I was talking to a friend of mine the other day,
and we got on the Discussion Topic of Evolution.
This conversation got started,since Mason is going to a New Charter School that specializies in Science and Math. And she asked me How they would teach about Evolution.
When we went to the tour,they told us Evolution is taught in Theory,and that it was the Parents descision on to teach their children about Evolution since it is considered a Sensitive Subject in religions.
So, We bounced a few ideas. So,Know I would like to pick your Brains,about what you think?
This post is NOT to dawg people for what they believe in,and none of that will go on.....
My main Question is about the Dinosaurs, to be honest.... God created all living things...Beasts and all. So what did happen to them, did they perish in the Great Flood? Was a meteor? Were they on the Ark?
Just wanted to see what you all thought????

Kari - we had this problem when Lindsay was in school. Evolution is taught as fact in public schools. What we did was talk to the school principal and asked if we could teach her the subject instead of her taking it in class. She went to the principal's office everyday during that time and I had her lessons written out for her. It was the same information as the regulat class but as "theory" -- At the end of the year she took the test from the school and answered the questions as "theory" rather than fact and passed with great grades. So you're in a great school if they teach this as theory. Just be sure to reinforce "theory" over "fact" to Mason
Dinosaurs are in the Bible. See Job 40 - called behemoth. They probably perished in the flood as the other animals.
Look up some of the facts of dinosaurs on the internet -- a very interesting subject.
