Vacation part 3

AAAAHHHH! I accidentally sent it without finishing it...Let see...

Thursday Evening we took the kids to the Hometown fair,Mason and Conner had fun and rode the rides. Saw the animals that were being shown...All My family up here shows cows oooops sorry They show Heifers and Bulls.

Friday
I went garage saleing with my Aunt Mitzi and found some pretty good deals.
I found like 5 shirts,2 shorts and 2 pairs of jeans for Mason for like 2 dollars for all of it,pratically brand new....

We went to lunch ....you guessed it Sheilas, then they brought The Boys and I back to my parents house so I could try to give Conner a nap,while they went into Springfield to pay for a trip they are going on...they take the neatest trips....this one is to Nova Scotia..

Unfortuantly Conner did not grace us with a nap until 2:15.....

Saturday we went to the show barn to warch my cousins show cattle,i likie watching this stuff,but the kids didnt get it, so I took them over to this hill and taught them to roll down it. They had a ball, we took their wind up truck and had it go down the hill as well, to see how far it would go...

Then we went to eat at Dairy Queen and came home to give Conner a nap..he slept 3 and half hours...I wore em out....

Sunday we went to church at my parents church and they were getting ready for their VBS that started that night. Its alot like Westgate...

Then we went out to my Aunt Gail's house and everybody from the family came over to eat with us. So i got to see cousins that I have not yet seen. The kids went out and ate Blackberries off of the vine...Conner had a purple mouth....this is was life is all about.

Sunday we came home and I went to see a Play with my cousin Celina it was called "The Musicman" It was great..but long three hours... Mom watched the boys, and conner did not fall
asleep till 4:15..ahhhhhhhhh! so mason took a nap as well,but mom woke him up to get ready for VBS.

So when i got back at a little after 6 i woke up Conner and we all had dinner and homemade ice cream...yummmm

I bathed Conner,and then it was time to go get Mason, He said he had a wonderful time and that he "volunteered " to go back...LOL

That was our first week of Vacation so far,and we are having a blast!!!!

Cont. Vacation 1

Well,I made a boo-boo on the weeks events.

Tuesday we went to the Eat at their Local town Cafe Sheila's for Lunch with My Aunt Gail and Cousin Dena. It was good,my parents eat certain days there, due to their specials. Since they are officially retired from work,my mom is retired from cooking as well..LOL

Conner was tired andhe crawled up in my lap and fell asleep. Hoping he would stay asleep in the car,which he did. But,as soon as we got home he woke up,and would not go back down.

So we went to the Library where my cousin works and checked out some books and videos. Mason played a few video games and Conner was right up there with him.

They have a Ronald McDonald statue sitting on the bench,and Conner went by him a couple of times knocking on hom telling him to "Wake Up" it was pretty funny.

We came homr and ate dinner and went swimming, and the usual when ee got home bath and bed..Exhausted...

Wednesday we got up and this is the day we went to the Exotic Animal Paradise,it was expensive but fun. TheAnimals came right up the car,so Conner had a good time looking the animals in the eyes.

Then we met my other cousin Christina and my Aunt Gail for Mexican food at La Hacienda. It was good as well.

Vacation part 1

Well it is Saturday evening,almost a week into vacation.


Monday the 16th we left for Houston to catch a flight to Tulsa ,Okla. The flight was good,and the boys were better than i expected

We met up with my parents in the airport..relief on ground.
We ate lunch in Claremore at Arby's and then headed on to Missouri.

I had to admit I was nervous on the Turn Pike,due to it was where my Sisterin-Law was killed in a car accident. It will be One year on August 7th. Miss you, Always Yanett.

Got here about 4:30 got settled,ate a little dinner. My Aunt Mitzi came over and visited us,then we took the boys swimming, till about 8. It was an end to a good night,then Mom brings conner to me,in the night....so I had a bed Kicking, hogging, little person...so needless to say i didnt get much sleep the first night.

Tuesday we were all up before 7...they were not lying when they said the sun woke you up.
We hung around this morning,then we decided to take the kiddos to this Exoctic Animal Paradise,it was fun..but expensive..but alot of Animals came real close to the car.

I have some things to get done,so ill blog later on wed. till sat.

Drama,Drama,Drama!

Don't worry, this is the good kind of Drama...

I will be having a Debut next month is 3 drama skits at church...

I am so excited,and have not done this since middle school.

In one skit I have to play a ditsy blond/valley girl...(spoiled brat)


The second one I am supposed to Friendly enough but set in my ways...

The third I don't have very many lines,but it takes place in a resturant...

I have been working on my lines and can't wait to get back up on stage....I Love doing this.

Everything is going good here,just counting down the day till I get to take the Boys on their first Airplane Ride and take them to go See Grandma and Grandpa in Missouri.

Where 4 wheelers , farm cows,hay bales and Big ol Sunday Dinner at my Aunts house.
Where the iced tea tastes better out of Auntie's glass than my own..LOL
Where homemade ice cream is a meal.
Where they actually have Barn Dances,haven't been to one..but they seem fun(Think Son-in-Law).
Where kids can run around chasing each other,and not worry about them getting into anything but Hay,Mud Puddles,and Grass and Grease...
Gotta Love the Country Living.....Yeeeeeeee Hawwwwww!

Mason's New School!

Well, Mason got in his New School....Harmony Science Academy!

Yeah..... I know that this is God's will for him to be there,otherwise if would of not happened.

I have toured the Harmony School in Houston on Gessner Rd.

I was impressed! Color on the walls were the most Tranquil blue,i never felt so comfortable in a school..

Did I mention everytime that I went to Mason's old school, It was drab,and kinda old...I loved his K Teacher ,though.

I was talking to a friend of mine the other day,
and we got on the Discussion Topic of Evolution.

This conversation got started,since Mason is going to a New Charter School that specializies in Science and Math. And she asked me How they would teach about Evolution.

When we went to the tour,they told us Evolution is taught in Theory,and that it was the Parents descision on to teach their children about Evolution since it is considered a Sensitive Subject in religions.

So, We bounced a few ideas. So,Know I would like to pick your Brains,about what you think?

This post is NOT to dawg people for what they believe in,and none of that will go on.....


My main Question is about the Dinosaurs, to be honest.... God created all living things...Beasts and all. So what did happen to them, did they perish in the Great Flood? Was a meteor? Were they on the Ark?

Well I have a Funny Fish Tale...for all your Fishermen/Fisherwoman


We went to Gander Mountain to get out of the House on Wed. and also that is Jim's(father in law) favorite Hang out,since they do not have one in his neck of the woods.

Well we shopped,let the boys climb on the things they can climb on, and then I went to find some lures to buy so the boys could play with them.

I found 2 packs on special ..some were green and some were red. So I bought them,and opened them up in the truck.

Well,Well,Well all of a sudden it started to smell like Garlic....Like a HUGE Garlic being peeled in the car......very overpowering,think i was going to throw up overpowering..

Well Jim laughing at me,said they have to smell like something,to attract Fish. I asked if they made like Strawberry ones....still laughing.
He looked at the package,and says that they are 3X stronger....Yuck!

So we get home,and I proceed to put them in a sippy cup with soap and water to attempt to get out the smell. Boy,was I wrong...

So after I tried to clean it out, Hubby suggested it will not ever come out,so throw it away.....

I do not know anything about lures that smell,or even lures at all. I fish with corn and thats all.

So,I hope you had a chuckle...I know I did...after the fact....

Well..It has a been awhile since i posted....so i am back with a new name,new color and new stories of what is going on....so i hope you will sit back and enjoy and respond....


Well after 5 days of rain, 2 toilets on the fritz and going crazy....things seem to have calmed down.

We finally got our toilets fixed,so no more going to the out house (back room) in the middle of the night.
One toilet would not flush,and the other flushed but shot out of the bottom,creating a Huge mess.

But I learned alot about plumbing:

Did you know the seal around your toilet is a type of wax,and it is to prevent sewer gasses from escaping.
Also,when there is a stoppage in the sewer line,and the water has no where else to go,it comes (gushes) out of the bottom of the toilet.

So the wax does not prevent the water from coming out.

Not to mention when the tech came out to clean out the sewer line and whatever was causing the stoppage,he perceded to tell me "Man,There is alot of POO ,going through now" With him being a male...I told him with Three Men in the house,youre bound to have that...even though i bright red with embarrasment...LOL

Well, that was my ordeal since Monday night. Its all over......WHEW!
