While we were in Austin, to visit my Brother,and my Niece and Nephew and of course ,My Parents,we decided to go to the church they have been attending.
Everybody was really nice,and accomodating to my Brother,who is still walking with a walker. I dropped Conner off to the Nursery,and Mason,Evan,and Tenay went to Sunday School,while we went to Church.
The sermon was on Baptizing,since they were going to Baptize some people in the afternoon,and I believe they do it in a Lake or River or Man made Pond, something to that effect,because he expressed about weather and the congreation are outside people. I woukd love to have seen that,but I had to head home.
Now ,for the Gross out moment:
I walked outside with Conner,and had placed my stuff on a bench outside,but then my Dad hollered to me,and I saw they were already at the car,waiting for Scott and the kids.
So I turned around and gathered my stuff,and then turned around to grab Conner,and you will NEVER Guess what he put into his Mouth????
BIRD POOP! Yes! Dried UP BIRD POOP! I raked it out of his hands,and he was in the process of spitting it out,and I was dry heaving all at the same time. Got the car,and shared the expierence with my parents, and of course they busted out laughing,and I was scared,what if he got sick on the way home...i mean you never know!
Then i seemed OK,until I shared it with my Husband,and then he tells me"You Know,there are alot of Parasites,In Bird Poop". Great! So should I do a parasite cleanse on my child???? Regina,know how to do that??? He didnt get sick,or is acting weird,he did try to fly off the couch.....
I thought I couldn't gross out on what Boys do,I should be Immune, I have 3. But Conner takes the Bird Poop,by far........

It's funny that you mention parasites, b/c Ashlyn was diagnosed with having a parasitical problem and about 80-85% of the population has them. Not like tapeworms, etc. (b/c that's what we think of when we hear parasites) but you can get parasites just by a dog licking you. Well enough said on that b/c Ashlyn is an animal lover and has been kissed by Copper a number of times. So when her Naturopath realized it may be parasites then he recommended an herb called "Olive Leaf" just plain ole olive leaf extraction put in a capsule and I have to put it in her applesauce twice a day and guess what? She is getting better and her ovaries are starting to produce estrogen like they should. She's also on supplements to support her ovaries, but to get rid of parasites the olive leaf worked great. They did however recommend making sure she got lots of yogurt b/c it kills good bacteria and she would need to replenish her body through eating yogurt, Kefir, etc. But unfortunately you cannot get Olive Leaf in the health food stores. These products are only purchased through a Naturopathic dr. and they're top of the line products according to Dr. Yeary. I'm sure prayer also had something to do with her healing too, b/c for a while there it didn't seem like she was responding to her supplements and I started to do some serious praying!! :) Anyway I hope that helps.
